What Causes Acne and Pimples

Acne and pimples can occur when dirts, oils and dead skin cells clogs or blocks the skin pores which leaves toxic deposits that can irritate and inflame the skin leading to outbursts of pimples and acne, which can lead to blackheads, whiteheads, cysts, nodules, and spots.

Acne and pimples can also occur as a result of emotional stress, applying greasy skincare products or change in hormones, some hormones such as androgen, genetic, menstruation, and hormonal imbalances can trigger acne and pimples.

Although Tretinion cream or gel is a general medically and dermatologically approved remedy for acne and pimples because of it’s effectiveness in getting rid of acne and pimples. But tretinion isn’t really recommended for very sensitive skin, because of the slight skin purging stage you’ll have to pass through before achieving your final acne and pimple free skin. But if you don’t have a sensitive skin you can use tretinion for your acne and pimples and you’ll never regrate it.

But if you must use tretinion and maybe you have a sensitive skin then you have to start from the lowest percentage and work you way up to the highest, (if need be), it’s recommended to ensure you use a water based moisturizer such as Hyaluronic acid serum or cream or aleo vera gel after or before applying tretinion, same is also applicable to individuals without a sensitive skin too, and tretinion is only to be applied at night, never apply tretinion during the day, to avoid sun damage.
