WHAT IS GUTENBERG?
Gutenberg is a new and current editor for WordPress 5.0
It was named after Johannes Gutenberg. The current editor requires a lot of short codes and HTML utilization to make things work.

The developers and contributors said, their major goal is to make things easier, especially for those who are new to wordpress, by embracing “Little blocks” and added more advanced layout options.
The developers of Gutenberg wants to provide WordPress users with a more modern and advanced toolset, aiming to transform the core Content editing system in WordPress.
IS GUTENBERG EDITOR COMPLICATING?
Generally speaking we all know that Gutenberg Editor has alot of advanced toolset such as
Using HTML Comment to store block information.
Won’t have any side effect after disabling the Gutenberg Plugin.
Offered a solid HTMLS
Giving you the possiblity to write your own blocks.
But from my own point of view Gutenberg Editor seems very Complicating and difficult to use.
The user interface isn’t that good.
It has some accessibility issues.
Images doesn’t look so good.
There are no short codes in paragraphs.
The current situation can cause some problems.
But to wrap it all up, Gutenberg Editor looks like a promising project, but we look forward to seeing the final result, ready to be accepted and used by everyone.
HOW DO I DISABLE GUTENBERG WORDPRESS EDITOR
If in anyway you have upgraded your WordPress version to 5.0 automatically your article editor changes from classic editor to Gutenberg Editor.
If you are one of those who finds Gutenberg difficult and complicating to use just like me, then I have a solution for you.
All you need to do is install a plugin called “Classic Editor”
HOW TO INSTALL “CLASSIC EDITOR PLUGIN”
1. Log into your Dashboard >> Click on “Plugins” as indicated in the picture below.
2. When you must have click on “Plugins” a small mini draft page will be revealed to you, click on “Add new” just as indicated in the picture below.
3. A new page will be revealed to you, using the search box type in “Classic Editor” and click in search, this will enable you search for the Plugin.
After a few seconds the Plugin will show up.
Install and activate the Plugin, automatically Gutenberg Editor will switch to Classic Editor which is more flexible and easy to use.
