It is medically adviced to eat freshly laid eggs, so the question is, “How do you know if the eggs we consumed are freshly laid”?.
That’s what we are about to find out.
In this very article, I’m gonna disclose some facts and hacks on how to know or test your eggs freshness and if they are freshly laid or not.
HERE WE GO
1. Get a clean glass bowl, or you can just use a bowl, the reason why I recommended a glass bowl, is because of its transparency, so you can see through it clearly.
2. Fill the glass bowl with water, don’t feel it up completely, in other not to over flow.
3. Then Gently drop an egg into the water filled glass bowl.
THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD BE WATCHFUL AND OBSERVANT.
When the egg sinks in deeply with it’s side, at the buttom or under the water, then it’s means your eggs is very fresh!!!.
In a situation whereby you gently droped the egg in the glass of water, and the egg happens to sink in under the water with with it’s oval shape pointed downwards, then it signifies the egg is still fresh, but not very fresh!!
In a situation whereby you gently drop the egg into the glass of water, and the egg hangs halfway, inbetween or at the middle of the water, (didn’t completely sink in), it means the egg is not so Fresh.
In a situation whereby you gently drop the egg into the glass of water and the egg floats above or on top of the water, then it signifies that the egg is not fresh at all.
It has lasted more than 1week or maybe 2 weeks.
Note: This process also applies to other birds egg, such as Turkey egg, Guinea fowl egg, duck egg, etc.
